+ What is Urgent Care?
Urgent Care is a step between family practice and the emergency department. We are a walk-in clinic that handles all non-emergent medical needs.
+ Can I make an appointment?
Alpine Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic only. We do not accept appointments in advance.
+ What services do we provide?
We treat minor injuries, burns, ear infections, colds, flus, high altitude sickness, dehydration, fevers, bites, and more. For a complete list of services, see HERE
+ Do you offer primary care services?
We treat urgent care needs only. You will be encouraged to follow up with primary care physician following treatment with us, and to continue care with your PCP for your ongoing medical needs.
+ Can I bring my kids to be seen?
Yes, we treat patients of all ages - from infants to elderly.
+ I do not have health insurance; can I still be seen?
Yes, we offer a flat rate of $100/visit, not including any treatments.
+ Why Urgent Care and not the Emergency Department?
The minimum emergency visit cost is $400. Alpine Urgent Care will save you money (and time) for non-emergent illness or injuries.
+ Does Alpine Urgent Care use the same providers as Alpine Orthopaedics?
No. Our medical urgent care services are provided by board certified Family Nurse Practitioners. Our orthopaedic, sports medicine, and surgical services are provided by orthoapedic physician and surgeon, Dr. Gloria Beim, and her orthopaedic team.
+ Do you have a provider on call (i.e., offer 24/7 care) for urgent care?
Alpine Urgent Care does not provide 24/7 service for urgent internal medicine care. Urgent internal medicine care services are offered only during our hours of operation. If you require urgent medical attention outside of these hours, please visit the nearest emergency department.
